December 05, 2009... All the Best to all of you...

First and foremost, I wish to express my condolences to those affected by the tragedy on the railway between Moscow and San Petersburg. I was shocked by this news. I am from San Petersburg, and several times I went between the two capitals of the "Nevsky Express". I sincerely sympathize with all victims and bereaved families. This tragedy reminded me of what happened in Madrid a few years ago .... Sad ....

But back to basketball. Not long ago, the draw for the World Championship to be held this summer in the Czech Republic. We are in the following group: Japan, Argentina and Czech Republic.

I think the game's most difficult, is likely to be against women host the tournament: it is the Czech national team that will fight for first place in the group. Personally, I've never played against Argentina, but surely this game will be very interesting. As for Japan, with a team of that country, we met several times and we won every game. I hope everything will go well for us this summer! ...

If we talk about the team, the first thing I want to say is that we are all very Deficit loss Shabtai. Without him, Spartak is like an orphan. But nevertheless, we have no right to let it go and we must continue to fight. We had a lot of away games in the last month, and everywhere, we reported the victory. We have visited Turkey, Poland, the Czech Republic. In Istanbul, bask in the sun, walk in Gdynia, or on the Baltic coast, and Brno to visit the Christmas market. It's always interesting to travel! ... Now everywhere in Europe are preparing Christmas, almost all cities are organizing the Christmas holidays. I really like this holiday spirit so special. It smells like wine "karitsey" hot, there are always lots of people and fires burn bright. Immediately there was a festive atmosphere!

But it is too early to think about the holiday - we all focus at 100% on basketball. So far, unfortunately I have not spent much time on the ground, as I want. I really want to help the team even more, especially in European games.

Also, if you have not forgotten, at Spartak, I am a new recruit. But I do not feel like a new recruit. We have a very friendly atmosphere, a very good team, we often spend our free time together. For example, in the photo - our team in a karaoke club. It was so fun! :)

In a previous blog I spoke of my classes billiards. I have not abandoned - quite the contrary, I continue to develop my skills! The pool tournament has been moved from November to January, so I save my forms for this battle! ... ;)
