December 29, 2009... New year eve in "Moulin Rouge" - All greetings from France!

The club has given some small holiday – till January 02, we will play on january 6th in Hungary, and we have will to prepare therefore.

For Catholic Christmas I have visited my mum in Strasbourg, France. Here it is now cold enough, even it is snowing, weather very much reminds Moscow, here only it is more sunny. Celebratory Strasbourg is very beautifully decorated, Christmas scenery and fires burn in all streets, and on Christmas fair tourists from different cities not only France, but also other countries of Europe have gathered. The Christmas market in Strasbourg is also very famous.

New year I will meet with friends in Paris, in the well-known cabaret «Moulin Rouge». I think, it is very original and interesting! But this time under a peal of bells of anything I will not think – last year's desires, unfortunately, were not executed.

There is a tradition more close by New Year's holidays to sum up the expiring year. As year was 2009 I, perhaps, will name nine significant and important events which have anyhow affected my life and remain in my memory for ever.

– Club change: I have passed from an army team in "Spartak" Vidnoye

– I became the captain of a national team of Russia

– Silver medals of the European championship

– Participation in «the Big races» First channel

– Apartment acquisition in the Russian capital

– Owners of the Cup of Europe, a victory over "Galatasaray"

– Death of Shabtai Von Kalmanovich

– Death of my favourite grandmother

Year, undoubtedly, was very difficult, with the troubles, sorrows, problems. Certainly, there were also light moments. But I am glad that 2009 already have almost ended, and New year I wait with huge impatience, I believe that for all of us it will be successful and happy!

I wish you to leave in leaving year all failures and a hardship, and in new – to realise all secret plans and dreams! Be happy, successful, healthy and favourite! Bright vital victories, the pleasure and has more than positive! Love basketball and support the Russian players!
