It was hard in Turkey but they did it, Spartak had won 2-0 against Fenerbahce (*90-79 and *85-87) and they reach the Final 4 with UMMC, Valencia and Brno. Congratulations to Ilona and Spartak....

First I want to congratulate all the men on the Day of "Defender of the Fatherland"!
I wish you strength, patience, courage, health and longevity, so that you have adequate protection and support for women and that we are proud of you!

Today, on this festive day, will be our first game is 1 / 4 final of Euroleague against the Turkish team of Fenerbahзe. In this series of matches, we are considered the favorite, we possess the advantage of hosting the decisive game and we have the first game at home. We have already met twice with the Turks in the subgroup of the Euroleague this season and both times the victory. But, despite these results, it is still set to a tough fight: we simply must win a convincing victory in front of their fans and win a ticket to the Euroleague Final Four.

Now the Vancouver Winter Games are held, and I am following with great interest in the performances of our athletes. I especially like figure skating, bobsledding and hockey. I love hockey and I try to watch all the matches of team Russia. Waiting along with millions of fans medal highest order of our hockey players. On the boys have high expectations, and they have a real chance of gold, so I wish wards Vyacheslav Bykov luck and success! And yet, unfortunately, the results of Russia's national team overall is not very pleased, we are just approaching the top ten on the number of medals.

Experiencing for our athletes in Canada, I immediately think of all their experiences and feelings that are experienced at the Summer Games. Being in the incredible Olympic atmosphere, immediately penetrates the special team spirit, the spirit of one country. This brings a special atmosphere, causes worry and hurt for all partners in the team, makes the tear of the vein, lay oneself out, to spare no effort - and give all of himself for a moment when, with bated breath, you hear their national anthem .... I am confident that our athletes still will please us with their achievements at the Games in Canada, and heartily wish Russia's Olympians as much as possible the beautiful victories!
Continuing the theme of winter, I will say that the very love skiing and skating. Unfortunately, these sports are rather traumatic, so I try not to take risks and not practise them... But after a basketball career, I will!...

I am always playing billiards/snooker, by the way, my coach says I'm improving every time. It motivates me and gives the desire to learn and play again. Who knows, maybe after basketball and alpine skiing, go to the pool!
Some time ago I was asked to comment on the live games of CSKA. I already had experience of this kind. I had occasion to comment on the game of women's basketball in Russian and English. But men's basketball, along with Vladimir Gomel live I discussed the first time.
