From Moscow I went to Strasbourg - the capital of Christmas! This city is always filled with beautiful Christmas decorations and a large Christmas market. I really enjoyed!

On December 31 we had a championship game in Turkey. And after the game, we were (in Istanbul, there are many Americans with whom I played in the Russian league) in a cozy restaurant in the heart of Istanbul. We happily welcome the new year, and I had a great time.

In general, the basketball season in Turkey is sufficiently dense and intense, the pauses between the great games there. But he and ends earlier than in Russia.

My team is constantly changing at the players - a newly expanded U.S., and this new year we have a new coach. E Italian coach was fired and the team was headed by an assistant, by the way, working in the coaching staff of the national team in Turkey. Perhaps one reason for the instability at the club, our team is not yet stabilized at the highest level.

I've never been to the Canaries, and I have long wanted to go! I had the chance! European Cup final we played against the Spanish team, "Gran Canaria" Canary Islands. The first game took place on the road. I've never been to the Canaries, and I have long wanted to visit there. We arrived in Spain on January 11, the day before the game, so I was not able to see the island where we were, but very happy with the weather - 25 degrees and really the summer sun! .. .

Our hotel room had a large balcony which was nice to sit and bask in the sun in January. The flight was quite long and complicated, we waited four hours in Madrid. I went to all the shops, all sitting in cafes. In one of the duty-free perfumes I had the pleasure of a beautiful encounter with my fellow Russian Elena Chernova! I did not expect to see her in Madrid. As it turned out, she also traveled to the Canary Islands - to try our game. We were happy to communicate and share the latest news!

And the next day already met on the site. The match was very intense, we lost 9 points. And today, January 19, we have the home game. We must win by more than 9 points to reach the quarter-finals of the European competition, I look forward to this game.
